The school food service program offers an economical and convenient option for school day meals. A full priced meal includes a combination of milk, vegetable, fruit, bread, and meat or other protein rich food. The district receives federal subsidies for each meal it serves that fits that guide. A breakfast program helps students get a good start to their school day. All meals meet the dietary guidelines of the National School Lunch and Breakfast program.
- The food service program serves breakfast to about 55 students each school day.
- The food service lunch program serves about 850 children each school day within the district. School lunch services also prepares meals for about 87 parochial school students each day.
As our lunch accounts are not debit accounts, parents are encouraged to pre-pay to their child’s meal account. Students need only use their ID number to access meals. Free and reduced price meals are available. Eligibility is determined by an application process and those applications are available at the district office.
