Important Dates for December:
December 15: Seward 7th/8th grade Wrestling Invitational
December 18: 7th/8th Vocal Music Concert
December 21: 1:30 Dismissal
December 24 - January 4: Winter Break
The student council is selling SMS t-shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies this Christmas season to students and staff. Part of the money raised will be donated to the Adopt a Family Program. Parents and patrons are encouraged to bye the SMS apparel as well.
New safety materials, codes, and information have been distributed to all staff. The safety codes have been simplified into Blue, Yellow, Red and All Clear. Students and staff will be practicing drills based on the new safety codes second semester.
The Seward Middle School girls basketball invitational was held on November 27 and 29. Beatrice, Crete, and Schuyler participated in the tournament. Both the 7th and 8th grade Seward girls basketball teams won their respective divisions.
The Seward Middle School Wrestling Invitational will be held on December 15 at the high school.
