Rhiannon Root Selected Fine Arts Youth of the Month

Seward High Senior, Rhiannon Root, was selected the April Fine Arts Youth of the Month. She has been involved in the SHS Musicals, SHS Marching Band, One Act Plays (all four years), SHS Speech team, SHS Quiz Bowl team and attended a variety of writing workshops while in High School.
Her speech was selected first place in the VFW Voice of Democracy Speech contest. She has been involved in the Library “After Hours” and contributed a variety of writings and short stories for contests and publications. She plans to attend UNL and is Undeclared as to her major next year.
Rhiannon is the daughter of Shawn Mueller of Seward and Rod Root of Lincoln.
