JV Volleyball Team Has Successful Week!

The Lady Jays traveled to Centennial on Tuesday to play the Broncos. Even though the coaches said the girls didn’t communicate well, they still came out on top winning in two sets. The scores were 25-10 and 25-16. Jessica Cordle was the top server with 13 points followed by Danyel Borgmann with 9 points. Danyel Borgmann commented that, “ I feel that we played better than the last game, but if we would’ve came out with more energy, we wouldn’t of had as many mistakes.”
On Thursday, the Lady Jays took a road trip to David City High School. Things went smoothly, except for an unusual amount of missed serves. Multiply players had one or two missed serves each. This is something the girls feel that they need to improve on before next week’s games. Missed serves weren’t enough to stop the Jays’ undefeated record. They came out on top 25-10 and 25-13.
