The Crete Invitational turned out to be the best meet so far for improvements in time. Nearly everyone improved their times. Also, the girls’ team won once again with the perfect score of 10 with Kelsey Christensen capturing 1st with a time of 15:46, Hanah Tvrdy won 2nd, Natasha Mueller won 3rd, and Liz Damman coming in 4th. Taylor Seaman also finished in 5th. “Taylor has done a really good job at catching up with the other four and improving,” Coach Holliday said. The JV team was also successful, with Seward taking 9 out of the 10 place finishes in that race. They were: Jordan Seaman-1st JV, Marti Vlasin-2nd, Michelle Ness-3rd, Megan Behlen-4th, Sierra Roth-5th, Erin Miller-6th, Katie Thrailkill-8th, Taylor Biddle-9th, and Jackie Uhing-10th.
The boys’ team also had great improvements
and their biggest competition was once again, York. They earned
runner-up in the race. The medalists in the top 10 were Ethan
Damman in 5th place with a time of 17:28 and John Cahoon finishing
in 8th place. The JV team took 5 out of the 10 places with Crayton
