JV Volleyball Kicks Off October With Win!!

On Thursday October 1st, the Lady Jays traveled to York and played some good competition. The Dukes had two standout middle hitters that carried their team. The main focus for the girls was to stop them. They successfully did this, winning their 9th game of the season with scores of 25-17 and 25-14. Overall the Lady Jays played very well. Passing was on target for the most part, allowing them to stay in system. Top servers for the game included Taylor Aegerter with 11 and Katie Hughes with 7. Taylor Wissing commented, “I felt that we played very solid. Passing was good which allowed us to go to all of our hitters, and they did a good job of hitting the right spots.”
