Teachers Teaching Teachers
Annual Technology Mini-Conference
by Brad Best
December 22, 2009
On November 25th, teachers were actively involved with what has become our annual technology mini-conference here at Seward Public Schools. Throughout the day, teachers were able to select technology-related sessions from which they could learn more about their laptops, create classroom projects, or learn about resources available to them to make their teaching more effective.
A group of teachers from across the district and a couple of outside trainers provided 18 different sessions from which to choose. Teachers were able to participate in the 3 sessions that they felt most appropriate for their classrooms and personal skill level. As our students are "digital natives" (have grown up with technology), we teachers continue to work to implement new ideas into our classrooms each day.
