Carson Shepherd is the January Fine Arts Student of the Month

Carson is a Seward High Senior and a member of the SHS Marching for four years, as well as the Symphonic Band and Pep Band for four years. He participated in the SHS One Acts for two years, musical, Concert Choir and Jazz Band. He was involved in the Poetry Out Loud program for two years and is a member of the SHS Speech Team.
He has completed a Southeast Community College public speaking class and participated in the VFW Speech Contest this year. He is a member of the United Methodist Handbell Choir.
Carson is the son of Clay and Linda Shepherd and plans to attend Southeast Community College in Lincoln in the area of Computer Tech.
