Our class presidents have already had
two meetings about homecoming and homecoming spirit week. They
voted homecomings theme to be jungle and for spirit week they voted
for class colors on Monday, Celebrity Day on Tuesday, Western Day
on Wednesday, Animal Print on Thursday, and School Colors on
Friday.
Chase Koch is the president for the senior class.
He says he wanted to be the president, because he could be a great
role model for his classmates and it’s a good learning experience.
He wants to make the lives of his classmates at school to be fun
and less stressful. He was surprised to win presidency, even though
he was vice president last school year.
Brandon Schaefer is the president for the junior
class. He says he wanted to be president, because he could make
reforms and make school a better place for everyone. He says that
being surprised is a strong word for what he felt, because he was
pretty confident that he was going to win the presidency. Brandon
also said that the school body doesn’t care enough about anything
important. He’s last comment was, “Everyone needs to fight the
power!”
Alex Siebrandt is the president for the sophomore
class. He says he wanted to be president, because it sounded fun
and he would be able to get more involved. He wants to make
activities more fun and have greater creativity in them. He also
said he wasn’t sure he was going to win and was surprised when he
found out he did.
Jackson Hackbart is the president for the
freshman class. He says he wanted to be president to be a good role
model for his classmates and make them better students, because
they always need work. He was surprised that he won, because he
didn’t think he was going to win. He also said that some students
are coming up to him since he won asking him to talk to Mr. Denker
about using ipods during school.
Each of these presidents are working hard to make
Seward High School a better place for it’s students.
