SCHOOL BOARD RECOGNITION WEEK

January 31 - February 6, 2016

January 31 to February 6, 2016 has been declared Nebraska School Board Recognition Week. This is an opportunity for us to recognize and thank a wonderful group of people who selflessly give many hours with the goal of providing a quality education for School District of Seward students.  Participation on the board does take time. There are regular board meetings, special meetings, committee meetings, and training sessions.  Board members also find time to communicate with school personnel and patrons of the school district. They volunteer their time typically without much recognition or thanks. School Board Recognition Week reminds us how important boards of education are to our educational process in this state, and reminds us to tell board members how much we appreciate their efforts.
Paul Duer, Lisa Dworak, Scott Pekarek, Jerry Rumery, Ryne Seaman, and Curt Sherman........Thank you for giving your time to serve The School District of Seward.
