As all of you know, Mrs. Heidemann will be retiring at the end of this school year. Mrs. Heidemann is such an amazing teacher and team member at Seward Elementary and, although we are very sad to see her say goodbye, we are so happy for her and her upcoming retirement. Mrs. Heidemann began her 33 years in education by teaching part time Kindergarten in Goehner, with just 8 students. Throughout her remarkable career, Mrs. Heidemann has been a Kindergarten, 2nd grade, 2nd/3rd combination, Reading Recovery, Title I Reading, and 1st grade teacher. Students of Mrs. Heidemann recognize her as a patient, wonderful teacher who treats them with kindness always. Each of Mrs. Heidemann’s students have been very fortunate to have her in their lives.
