Seward Public Schools WAN RFP
Seward Public Schools is seeking bids for managed 1 Gbps full duplexed wide area fiber network from: Seward High School to Seward Elementary School; Seward High School to Seward Middle School and Seward High School to Seward District Office. Service dates are from July 1, 2019 thru June 30, 2029.
Successful vendor will provide entities with managed 1 Gbps full duplex Wide Area Network (WAN) to the entity sites using 100% fiber optic cable. The demarcation point will be located at a secured location at all entities. See appendix A for the list of demarcation points.
Successful vendor must supply throughput of 95% of contracted capacity. Detailed testing procedures to meet this requirement must accompany bid documents.
Bids are due in both hardcopy and in electronic form (Word document or PDF format) on or before Friday, January 18, 2019, 3:00 pm CST at Seward Public Schools, Attn: Craig Williams, 410 South Street, Seward, NE 68434. Bids may be emailed craig.williams@sewardschools.org, time and date stamped by receiving computer. Bids will be opened publicly and simultaneously in the presence of vendors and/or their representatives beginning at 11:00 am CST. on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, or as soon as possible thereafter, at the Board Room of Seward Public Schools, 410 South Street, Seward, NE. Hardcopy bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the vendor's name, address, and telephone number clearly marked on the cover. The lower left corner of the sealed envelope should read as follows: “Wide Area Network Bid”. The electronic copy must be similarly marked.
