On Friday, July 31, the SHS Marching will host an exhibition performance to celebrate the end of band camp! The performance will take place at 6:30pm on the practice field on the west side of the school (by the bus lane). Please bring a chair, as there are no bleachers. The band will demonstrate marching fundamentals during the annual drill down competition and premier the 2026 show, Shadows and Light. All are welcome to attend!
SHS Sophomore Erich Dybdal has been hard at work at the National High Schools Finals Rodeo this week! Erich made the short go in light rifle, is representing NE as a state delegate, and is the Bareback Riding Student Director. Keep up the great work, Erich!
Today, the Seward High volleyball team hosted a 36-team tournament running NINE courts. A tournament of this size would not be possible without the use of the Seward Wellness Center. Thanks for supporting the Bluejays, SWC, and for all your help & flexibility. Thanks to "What's the Scoop" for providing some cool treats! We had a great day!
Members of the SHS marching band and cheerleaders performed for residents of all 3 assisted living facilities in Seward on Friday. It was great to share 4th of July spirit with everyone!

Congratulations to Danicaella and Christie, who represented SHS at the annual Masonic Marching Band! They rehearsed Tuesday-Friday, gave a concert Friday night, and performed a halftime show at the Shrine Bowl on Saturday. Great job, Jays!
