Tanner Henning Named SHS October Fine Arts Youth of the Month
Launch the media gallery 1 playerSHS Senior Tanner Henning of Seward was named the October SHS Fine Arts Youth of the Month. Tanner is the son of Kevin and Brenda Henning. Tanner has been a member of the SHS Marching Bluejay’s Band for four years and Marching Band Section Leader for one year.
He is a four year member of the SHS Swing Choir and in SHS Select Choir for three years. He participated in the Seward Summer High School Chamber Choir for one year, the Masonic All-Star Marching Band for one year, the Doane Honor Choir for one year and the SHS Musical for three years. He also participated in the VFW Voice of Democracy Speech Contest.
He is a longtime member of the SHS National Honor Society and the Hillcrest Evangelical Free Church Worship Team member for four years.
His college plans are undecided and his ultimate goal is achieving the goal of becoming a fully licensed doctor. He plans to attend a four year college and major in Biology and minor in Music.
