GFWC NFWC Student Photography Contest Results 2023
The Annual GFWC Seward Woman’s Club and the GFWC Seward Junior Women’s Club High School Student Photography Contest for 2023 was held at the Seward Civic Center. The contest was open to all High School students at Seward High. The contest entries are on display in the East Fireplace Room of the Seward Civic Center, 616 Bradford Avenue, in Seward, Nebraska. The first place winners advance to the state GFWC NFWC High School Photography Contest in Papillion, NE this spring. The results include….

The Judge/Juror was Ken Schmieding, owner of Schmieding Professional Photography, who has served as a professional photographer and photography judge for almost 60 years. Each winner receives a certificate and ribbon from the GFWC Seward Club’s and a special commemorative dollar coin from the Cattle Bank and Trust. There is no longer a national contest for high school photography-only on the state level. GFWC Chairman for the GFWC NFWC State High School Photography contest is Chairman Jean Kolterman.
