SHS German Student Welcomed to Seward by Seward Rotary Club

Linus Beck - the Seward High International Student from Colonge Germany was the Christmas guest at the Seward Rotary Club’s noon luncheon meeting and officially welcomed to the community by the Seward Rotarians.

He was introduced by Rotarian Clark Kolterman and Kolterman presented him with a gift bag of “Seward” gifts - hoping he can share them with his family when he returns home to Germany in the spring - after he finishes his school year at Seward High.

His presentation was limited at the December meeting and he promised to return in the Spring and share his insights and observations of living ing the USA in comparison to life in Germany!

Linus is a Sophomore at SHS and participated in the Cross Country team and looking forward to the SHS Soccer season. He has played soccer since age 3 and enjoys playing the “left wing” on the team! He is enjoying all his classes and looking forward to his new classes in the new year.

The Seward Rotary Club is affiliated with Rotary International- an international volunteer humanitarian service organization in 166 countries - worldwide - including Germany! The Seward Rotary Club meets weekly - at a noon luncheon in the Jones Bank auditorium!
