Christmas Cards for Veterans at SHS

Students at Seward High School wrote Christmas Cards to Veterans through the GFWC Seward Woman’s Club’s annual “Card’s for Veterans” program! The GFWC Seward Woman’s Club donated/ furnished the Christmas Cards for the program- with many of the cards donated by residents of the community. 

The GFWC collected the cards from the students and then distributed the Christmas Cards to veterans across the state -primarily in Veteran Nursing Homes. 

Classes that participated in the program included all the SHS JAG (Jobs for America) classes - taught by Mr.Moody, all the Nathan Knott Art Classes and Mr Wade Miller’s Business Classes. 

Local sites that offered Christmas Cards for Veterans - included the Seward Civic Center and the Nebraska National Guard Museum.
